OPEN

Episode 9

Open Ears is a podcast about curiousity and creativity. And intellectual property.

Intellectual property begins with curiosity and eagerness to create solutions. Creativity touches all aspects of intellectual property.

In Open Ears, we wish to explore how different people work with their creativity and express it in a work of art and innovation which sometimes lead to an intellectual property right.

Our guests will come from various fields of creation and innovation, and each episode will be hosted by a contributor from aera in an inspiring and hopefully thought-provoking conversation.

Sailing the sea of creativity without land in sight

In this episode of OPEN ears, IDA KUDO, singer, songwriter, and producer, shares with our host, Hanane Roswall, the creative process behind the making of her recent EP, including the songs “Proud” and “The Power That Is Woman”.

The creative process for this body of work was in close collaboration with the award-winning British producer Andrew Hunt, who challenged Ida to work entirely differently from what she is used to. The process discussed and explored here is so inspiring that we believe it can be applied in many areas.

You can also hear a very eye-opening take on what “Simplifying Complexity” means to her.

The episode ends with a piece of music selected by our host to celebrate IDA KUDO: Resist by Hôy La.
