Alexander Johann Bjørnå is an experienced IP-manager focusing on creating tangible value by managing companies´ Intellectual Property. Alexander has worked for 15 years as in-house IP-manager in industry and for over 10 years as IP-consultant in various IP-agencies. With his last employer, a very reputable Norwegian IP-agency, Alexander held the positions of Head of Patents and Head of Business Development. As a serial entrepreneur, Alexander also started three companies in various sectors gaining thereby unique business experience from working hands-on with practical activities typical for entrepreneurs. Alexander has also held the position as Chairman of the Board of the Norwegian IP Cluster IP-Norge.
Alexander holds a master degree in biotechnology and nutrition science from BOKU, Vienna and an LLM in IP Management from CEIPI, Strasbourg. Further, Alexander is a chartered European Patent Attorney.
