Andrea holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics Engineering (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) from Politecnico di Milano, including a Master’s thesis at Chalmers University of Technology on the fabrication and characterization of superconducting nanowires. Drawn to the Nordic countries, he moved to Copenhagen to pursue a PhD at the Technical University of Denmark, focusing on the fabrication and structural and electrical characterization of oxide freestanding membranes for spintronics applications.
With a background spanning nanofabrication, thin-film oxide systems, and device characterization, Andrea combines technical depth with a genuine interest in people. He is social and outgoing, enjoys working closely with others, and has a strong interest in reading and writing about technology. His wish to help people bring their ideas to life is what drew him to a career in IP.
