Kim advises domestic and international clients in the fields of chemistry, pharma, biotech, and food/nutraceuticals.
Kim has extensive experience in representing international clients in opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO). Kim has a unique expertise in EPO case law and has been involved in several high-profile EPO Board of Appeal cases published in the Official Journal and in the Case Law of the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office. In addition, Kim has been involved in a large number of high-profile PI, infringement and validity lawsuits before the Danish Courts.
Kim was a Partner in a leading Copenhagen-based IP law firm for many years. He has also worked as an in-house Patent Counsel in a Danish and an American biotech company. More recently, Kim worked as a senior counsel in a top-tier Copenhagen-based law firm specialised in national and UPC litigation.
