Lars has more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property law and IP management. He has developed specialised expertise in enforcing and managing IP rights, particularly in cases involving products bearing counterfeit trademarks or pirated copyrighted materials. He has also drafted and negotiated various IP-related agreements, such as licences, cooperation, development, research, and employment contracts.
Lars has advised and represented clients in IP litigation, both nationally and internationally. He has conducted numerous infringement proceedings before the Danish courts and coordinated cross-border group actions for exporters. He has also represented the world’s largest games supplier and several other gambling licence holders against the Danish authorities.
Furthermore, he has authored multiple books on IP law and management and is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution and Internet Committees at INTA and ECTA, where he contributes to the development and advocacy of IP policies on the internet and within the domain name system.
