EPO explains why they refused a machine as an inventor

The European Patent Office (EPO) has published its reasons for refusing two patent applications, where the AI machine DABUS was designated as the inventor. The two applications were refused primarily on the grounds that they didn’t meet the legal requirements saying that the inventor has to be human being.
