Jane entered the patent profession in 2008, where she worked at one of Europe’s largest IP-firms prior to joining aera in 2024. Her work is often centered around combining strategic advice with drafting and prosecution of patent applications representing the key aspects of her clients inventions. Clients appreciate her straight-forward problem-solving abilities, her structured overview of larger portfolios and her drive to combine technical, legal, and business knowledge into clear strategic advice.
She has specialized within a broad range of technical fields often including aspects from the field of both mechanics, electronics, and chemistry. In particular, Jane has extensive experience within the field of medical devices.
Jane has focused a large portion of her work within the field of freedom-to-operate and has lectured at the Freedom-To-Operate course held by DIFI (Dansk Institut for Immaterialretsudannelse) since 2021 and holds a M.Sc. in Math and Chemistry from Aarhus University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Lund University, where work was focused within the field of ultrafast time resolved spectroscopy and the optics relating thereto.
